We had a wonderful vacation last week camping in Mackinaw City and visiting Mackinaw Island. I was worried about how camping would go with a baby but I am happy to say it went extremely well. We had no water or electricity and slept in a tent. The weather was great which was helpful. The campground had nice bathrooms and showers, a heated pool, a beach on Lake Huron and a beautiful view of the Mackinaw Bridge. I would definitely camp there again. Jinnae loved being outdoors all the time. Jinnae did get up every night and began to whimper but all I had to say was, mama is right here and then she settled back down.
One night we took a ride on a fire truck that drove around the campground. That was fun!
We biked the eight miles around Mackinaw Island and it was beautiful. We enjoyed lots of good food and fudge of course.
It was hard to come back home to the real world.
Now that Rick and I have conquered three weeks in China, daily life with a baby and camping, I say we can conquer anything and should adopt four more children.
Rick's response - Hold up, let's just enjoy Jinnae right now.
He'll come around. :)

You go, girl! I think you'd do great with 4+ kids! :) We camped in July with our 4 at Jellystone in Silver Lake and all went surprisingly well (pop-up). What campground did you stay at? We're headed that way sometime.
