Day 7 - The People's Park

This morning we went on a trip to a beautiful park called the People's Park. It was very nice. Jinnae found her first boyfriend there. A little boy was smitten with her and followed us through the whole park helping me push the stroller and making sure Jinnae was ok. His grandma quietly followed. Then we drove around a lake called Elephant Lake because it is shaped like an elephant. We are going to have a busy afternoon of doing paperwork and packing. We leave early tomorrow morning to the province of Guangzhou. We will try to update the blog once we get there. We are looking forward to staying in the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou. They have a room with lots of toys for children. Jinnae will like that. We also hope to do lots of shopping. Please pray that Jinnae's first airplane flight will be very smooth. Love and miss everyone!

I finally had a chance to see your wonderful pictures over the past 2-3 days. Our prayers are with you as you travel and for good health for Jinnae. Seeing your pictures of the villages and temples brought back so many memories of when I lived in China. We have so mcuh to be thankful for here in the USA, it's easy to take things for granted. I didn't think Jinnae's cute smile could get any bigger, but she looks happier as each day passes! Can't wait to meet her! God Bless! Ruthie

I am so enjoying reading your updates, Vicki! Your daughter (isn't that a cool sound?!) is adorable and your joy is evident on your faces! Our friends who adopted from China expressed what a privilege to be allowed to adopt such a beautiful child...I'm sure you feel the same way. Love, Rhonda

Thanks so very much for sharing your pictures and activities in China. It is the highlight of my day to see beautiful Jinnae's pictures. Her smile gets bigger every day. I pray that the rest of your trip is as good as the first part and you have a great flight home. See you soon. Diane

Dear Mrs. Pulaski,
They make such a cute couple.
Being so pretty I bet that this will not be the last boy to like Jinnae. Get used to it. Love the ponytail!!

OK, That scrunched-up nose smile gets me every time!!! What a doll!!

So I was looking at the update again at lunch in class and my kids caught a glimpse of Jinnae in her bating suit. They were oooh - ing and aaaah - ing!!! Then one of my boys asked if you were going to bring her to our school. I told him most likely not, but I thought you would appreciate knowing that 22 other students are sharing this journey with you as well and praying for you daily.

Hooray, John was able to figure out the link and oh my gosh what a joy to share in this with you both. It brings chills to me to hear the joy in your words and on your faces. I just can't wait to pinch her adorable little cheeks! I'm so thankful God brought you there safely and we are praying that he brings you 3 :-) home safely. God is so good!
